I am a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher at Karl Cain Academy, bringing over 15 years of experience teaching English in Spain. As the “grandfather” of our KC family, I strive to create an engaging, supportive environment where students can grow in confidence and develop a genuine love for the English language and British culture. I hold a TEFL certificate and have extensive experience in senior management across various industries.
My teaching philosophy focuses on critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication. I encourage active participation, exploration of diverse texts, and independent learning.
Before joining Karl Cain Academy, I taught students of all ages and levels in different institutions, using a range of strategies to support both beginners and advanced learners.
Beyond teaching, I have led Scout and youth rugby groups, and enjoy reading, travelling, gardening, and caring for my family and animals. My commitment is to help every student become confident, articulate, and prepared for future success.
